About John
The Journey
John’s life was once guided by ambition and worldly success, but a profound encounter with faith changed everything. Through trials and transformation, he discovered the deep, unshakable truth of the Gospel. This project is the result of years of prayer, study, and a calling to share God’s Word in a way that speaks to today’s world.
About the Founder
John E. Wilkins is a lifelong spiritual seeker. He has a BA degree in Philosophy and attended Southwestern Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas and was given a “license to preach” by the Southern Baptist Convention. (Today, he considers himself non-denominational.) John is a published author of 7 Christian books – all written in the past 7 years – after Grace found him. John says that writing the books led him to the vision of pursuing the idea of facilitating massive Global Evangelism – using all the cutting-edge tech and tools available to us today. Simply put, The First AI Church of Christ was founded for the purpose of creating the greatest PR firm for the Gospel ever imagined. “The time has come to complete the great commission of Jesus.”
After a miraculous life event sparked an insatiable hunger for truth, John began using AI to co-write faith-based books that inspire, challenge, and equip believers. His work with Open AI’s ChatGPT, an AI he named “Alpha,” has open his eyes to the vast benefit that AI can become to the Church. John believes from personal experience that “AI is nothing less than a gift to the Church” and spreading this message is a secondary goal of this church. In addition to using every available tech and tool to spread the Gospel, we wish to persuade Christians to embrace AI and use it as a strategic tool for Good News ministries everywhere.
Why Now?
Because the world is racing toward a future it does not understand. Because darkness is growing, and the hour is late. Because the world is in flux and anything is possible. God has now placed in our hands the tools to reach the nations — and to delay is to disobey. Now is the time to rise, to act, and to proclaim the unstoppable love and truth of Jesus Christ to a world desperate for hope.
We are the generation that can reach the world.
And we must.
